Working With Polymer Clay

Be sure to sign up for this exciting new Polymer Clay workshop on October 5th, 2019.  This workshop will begin at 10:30am and end by 2:30pm.  The cost is $30 and all supplies are provided.  This is open to ages 14 and over.

The instructor is the phenomenal Michelle Efird, a “polymer clay freak extraordinaire”!!  Michelle creates true works of art with her clay and sells them here in the Stanly Art Guild’s store.

In this workshop, you will learn the basics of working with polymer clay, such as brands, conditioning, curing, tools, etc. You will learn to make a “cane” of clay (not what you may think), and you will be using this to make a pendant and/or a keyring .  Attendees will need to bring a bag lunch and a beverage.  A quick break will be taken around 12:15.
