Bigfoot BBQ Brisket & Ribs Cookoff

The Bigfoot BBQ Brisket & Ribs Cookoff invites pitmasters to showcase their best brisket, ribs, or both in a fierce competition for top honors. Teams can also join the People’s Choice Award, where pork butts are provided, cooked, and sampled by festival-goers who cast their votes. Proceeds from Sample Plate sales benefit the Troy Police Department’s Shop with a Cop Program, making every bite count for a great cause. Sample Plate Sale bracelets will be sold Saturday, November 7 starting at 9:30 a.m. Sample Plates will be available to pick-up/purchase starting at 11 a.m. (Supply is limited. Only 200 plates will be sold.)  Rules and Registration forms can be downloaded from the list below.

Veterans Day Parade

Wave your flags and line the streets for the Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, November 7, at 11 a.m. along North Main Street in downtown Troy. The event will start with an opening ceremony at 10 a.m. at Troy Town Hall. This patriotic tradition brings the community together to honor the men and women who have served our country. Featuring veterans, marching bands, floats, civic groups, and more, the parade is a proud display of gratitude and hometown spirit. Bring the whole family, show your support, and help us celebrate our heroes in the heart of Troy.
