April Guild Meeting – With Alicia Herrin
Come on out to 330 North Second Street at 6:45 for the monthly Guild Meeting. This months Speaker will be Alicia Herrin from the Small Business Center.
Alicia is the Director of Small Business & Entrepreneurial Development at the Stanly Community College Small Business Center, (SBC), in downtown Albemarle. She has been a great source of information & guidance to us during the time we were closed & either trying to find a new home or working to get our new space ready.
Alicia has been with the SBC since August of 2013. During her almost six years of service she has assisted numerous entrepreneurs through business start-up and/or expansion. She holds degrees in Business Administration and Accounting and has specialty certifications in Entrepreneurship and Marketing. Alicia has a sincere passion for assisting entrepreneurs and has spent much of her career devoted towards helping them succeed!
The Stanly Community College Small Business Center (SBC) supports the development of new businesses and the growth of existing businesses by being a community-based provider of training, business counseling and resource information.
As a member of the NC Community College System Small Business Center Network (SBCN), the SBC’s services are provieded at a low or NO cost to the local community.
