SUMMARY:Creating Texture with Spider Web Fibers
DESCRIPTION:We have a wonderful Mixed Media workshop coming up with none other than Susan Lackey!  \nSusan will guide you through a series of steps in this stress-free process. Using synthetic spider webs (Halloween kind) and watercolor paint\, you will create textures on two different surfaces: Yupo and watercolor paper. The textured surfaces can be used alone as an abstract painting\, or as a background for subjects (as shown in The Southeastern Long-beaked Teal Bird and the Cat). \nSkill levels: All skill levels. No experience required. \nPrice: Includes ALL materials. $30 for Stanly Arts Guild Members / $40.00 for Non-Members \nAges: adults \nLAST DAY TO REGISTER: January 15th\, 2026.
