Each participant received an 18 inch x 22 inch piece of the same fabric (a FQ, or Fat Quarter, in quilting lingo) and was challenged to create a small quilt including that fabric.
The Rules:
The challenge fabric must be used in some part
The challenge fabric must be visible in the final quilt
The final quilt should be no larger than 35in x 35in
Other fabrics may be used in the challenge
Any quilting technique can be chosen by the participant
The entries were on display from August 13th to the 23rd, 2025. Any person visiting The Stanly Arts Guild during that time was invited to vote for their choice. The center of the Viewer’s Choice Ribbon highlights the fabric that the Three Rivers Quilt Guild participants were challenged to use.
